Skylume

Skylume is a Wear OS watch face background inspired by the liminal stillness of a city caught at the edge of night. Rendered in high-contrast black and white with fine ink and charcoal shading, the composition draws the eye across a dense urban skyline of rooftops, chimneys, water towers, and angular silhouettes stretching horizon to horizon beneath a radiant, otherworldly sky.

The lower two-thirds of the image are filled with intricately hatched linework that captures the gritty texture of brick edges, ledges, and urban geometry. Above the rooftops, the sky opens into vast, dreamlike cloudscapes rendered in soft inkwash shading, with billowing luminous clouds that seem to glow from within, as though light itself is bleeding through deep charcoal atmosphere.
